I think this video just goes to show how diverse and separated our planet remains today, even in the globalized age. Both the White World and the people of Uganda honestly believe that they understand the other side. Whites claim to understand the Ugandans' struggle and see activism as the best way to address the problem. The Ugandans, however, in many ways find these actions disrespectful because of the many stereotypical views they hold of white society. We are viewed as rich and lazy. They see us as hypocrites, motivated to generate awareness for the time being but afraid to take any real action.
